If you or a loved one is concerned about memory loss, or family history of cognitive decline, Body Symmetry MD’s new Alzheimer’s Recovery Center (ARC) was created to provide care that can help prevent the onset or maximize recovery from cognitive decline. Our mission is to execute a coordinated, individualized treatment plan for each patient using innovative methods that can provide hope.
We provide medical treatment developed by Dale Bredesen, MD, author of The End of Alzheimer’s Program: The First Protocol To Enhance Cognition And Reverse Decline. We work in collaboration with the Apollo Health, using their programs designed for patients suffering or diagnosed with dementia and cognitive decline as well as those at increased risk for developing Alzheimer’s or other neurodegenerative diseases.
These include:
A Proven, multi-faceted approach
The only clinically proven to reverse cognitive decline in early stage Alzheimer’s disease
The ReCODE Program is intended for people currently experiencing symptoms of cognitive decline and are ready to participate in an intensive program designed to restore and enhance cognitive function while promoting overall health.
It’s designed for anyone experiencing subjective cognitive impairment (SCI), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease. The program is most effective when use begins in the early stages, but we have examples of reversal in patients experiencing the mid to late stages.
The only clinically proven program to optimize brain health and prevent cognitive decline
The PreCODE Program targets individuals who are symptomatic and are interested in preventing cognitive decline and promoting brain health optimization. It’s designed for adults, regardless of age, with a family history of dementia, or who have risk factors such as pre-diabetes or inflammation, and all over 45 years of age.
“Everyone knows someone who has survived cancer, but until now, no one knows anyone who has survived Alzheimer’s disease.”
~Dr. Dale Bredesen, Chief Science Officer, Apollo Health, author of The End of Alzheimer's Program: The First Protocol To Enhance Cognition and Reverse Decline
The science of reversing cognitive decline through PreCODE and ReCODE. The Bredesen Protocol is a multifactorial, personalized precision medicine approach exclusively offered through the Apollo Health ReCODE and PreCODE Programs.
Dr. Dale Bredesen, an internationally recognized expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, has been conducting research in this field for more more than 30 years. Dr. Bredesen drew attention from the medical community in 2014 with a peer-reviewed paper in Aging magazine, Reversal of cognitive decline: a novel therapeutic program. In the paper, he shares his multi-step precision medicine approach, demonstrating, for the very first time, a reversal of cognitive decline in nine (out of ten) patients.
Dr. Bredesen continued to expand his clinical work, publishing Reversal of cognitive decline: 100 patients in Journal of Alzheimers Disease & Parkinsonism in 2018. Here he outlined one hundred case studies, detailing the patient improvements he and his fellow researchers documented.
He also conducted a successful peer-reviewed clinical trial and published his findings in 2022, providing a blueprint of hope for clinicians and patients worldwide. The study, Precision Medicine Approach to Alzheimer’s Disease: Successful Pilot Project represents the first clinical trial in history which, rather than pre-determining a treatment for Alzheimer’s, the researchers evaluated each patient for the many potential contributors to cognitive decline. The identified contributors are specifically targeted with a personalized, precision medicine approach, in which 84% of patients successfully reversed cognitive decline.
